Our doctors are all locally trained to the highest standard, with post-graduate General Practice qualifications. We happily assist in all aspects of family medicine.

We also have special expertise in women’s and men’s health, child health, dermatology and skin cancer, antenatal care, travel advice, internal medicine, sports injuries and minor surgery.

Experienced and friendly in-house psychologists, physiotherapists, a dietitian and a podiatrist complement the services offered by our medical team.


The practice is supported by a registered nurse and friendly, efficient administrative staff.



Dr Paula Moir





Dr Moir combines a strong academic background with a warm, friendly approach. After graduating from Monash Medical Centre with Honours in 1997, Paula received post-graduate training in General Practice and Women's Health, achieving Fellowship of the RACGP and the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.


Her involvement with educating General Practitioners for a number of years enhances our credentials as a teaching practice.


Paula also has further training and expertise in paediatrics, and offers high quality and attentive care in all areas of General Practice.

Dr Joseph Sherman





Joseph has worked in general practice for over twelve years, after ten years of working across various specialties in public hospitals.


Special areas of interest include paediatrics, mental health, general medicine as well as drug and alcohol problems.


He enjoys maintaining skills in acute medicine with a longstanding, regular shift at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Emergency, as well as work in the community health setting in Port Phillip. Joseph speaks fluent Russian.

Dr Angela Taggart 





Angie trained at Monash University, completing her residency at the Alfred Hospital in 2009. She then went on to work at the Royal Children's and Royal Women's Hospitals, completing the Diploma of Child Health and attaining a Certificate of Women's Health. Further training and examinations in General Practice  led to her being granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.


Angie enjoys seeing patients of all ages and in all stages of life, but has a particular interest in women's and children's health, as well as preventative medicine.

Dr Emily Walsh




Emily Completed Medicine at Monash University in 2000. She has worked in General Practice for over 10 years.


Emily has experience in all aspects of General Practice and has done further training in Women's Health, Family Planning, Paediatrics, Mental Health and Preventative Medicine.

Dr David Klein





David graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1974. He worked in general practice from his own rooms in Albert Park from 1982 to 1994, before moving to Prahran East Medical Centre as practice principal, maintaining this role through to 2012. 


David has particular interest and training in preventative medicine, complementary medicine and dermatology.

Dr. Martin Williams





Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours in 1995. He gained post-graduate experience and training in paediatrics, dermatology and skin cancer, general surgery, emergency medicine and internal medicine, along with twelve months in obstetrics and gynaecology, obtaining the Diploma in O&G. After further training in general practice, he was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2001, achieving second place in Victoria in the College examinations.


He then consulted for twelve years as a GP in two large medical centres in Hampton and Elwood, teaching trainee specialist GPs and medical students, while also delivering babies at Sandringham Hospital, where he served as Head of GP Obstetrics.


As of 2013, Martin is the Practice Principal at Prahran East Medical Centre.  Here he offers all aspects of General Practice health care, with particular expertise in paediatrics, dermatology, women's health (including shared antenatal care), mental health, internal medicine, emergencies, trauma and minor surgery. He also has interests in insertion of contraceptive implants and IUD's, medical family planning, PrEP for HIV prevention, Hep C eradication treatment, opioid replacement therapy, and a special interest in skin cancer care, including dermatoscopic mole checks, mole removals, skin biopsies and skin cancer treatment by both medical and surgical means.

Dr. Rebecca Wright



Rebecca graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 and undertook her initial hospital training at Ballarat Base Hospital. She has a strong interest in paediatrics and womens health, and subsequently worked at The Royal Childrens Hospital and The Royal Women's Hospital, completing her postgraduate Diploma of Child Health and the RANZCOG Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has also worked in emergency medicine in regional Victoria at Wangaratta Base Hospital before undertaking training and attaining Fellowship with the Royal Australia College of GPs.

Rebecca enjoys all aspects of general practice. Her particular areas of interest are women's health, paediatrics and preventative health. Rebecca performs minor procedures including excision of skin lesions, iron infusions and implanon insertion.

Rebecca is a accredited pregnancy shared-care provider affiliated with The Royal Women's Hospital, Sandringham Hospital and Western Health.


Emina Williams

Registered Nurse, Div. 1


Emina brings vast and varied nursing experience from some of Melbourne's major hospitals to general practice. Her expertise in wound management, immunisation, therapeutic ultrasound and complex care co-ordination combines with a lovely, caring manner. She also offers multilingual skills, being fluent in Greek, Albanian and Macedonian.

Danielle has great people skills developed through life experience, extensive travels around the world and working in different industries prior to nursing.

Danielle got into nursing after Year 12 but decided to go into different industries including working on cruise ships around the world as a skin technician and then eventually working in property. Danielle made the change back to nursing in 2013 after having kids as she had always regretted not continuing it.

Danielle has a positive attitude, is very friendly and has a special interest in skin procedures.

Michaela joined us from the Healthscope Medical Centre Division in 2017, where she was a Practice Manager for eight years.


Michaela has had a passion for working in the medical industry since she started. To support her Practice Manager role she successfully completed a Diploma of Practice Management through Swinburne University in 2014.


She enjoys the challenges of running a busy medical centre on a daily basis and also creating an enjoyable atmosphere to both work in and visit as a patient.


Dr Elon Gersh

Clinical Psychologist


Elon is a clinical psychologist who has a Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Melbourne. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Washington.

Elon has a range of clinical experiences including working as a family therapist with Berry Street, with young people with psychosis and mood disorders at Orygen Youth Health and with people with medical illness and psychological concerns at Austin Hospital. In addition to working in private practice, Elon currently works as a Lecturer at the University of Melbourne.

Elon sees people aged 16 and above. Elon works to create a comfortable atmosphere for collaborative work with clients. Elon uses modern research findings to inform his work while tailoring the therapy to each individual.

Fiona Fouvy

Fiona is a Psychologist who works with adults of all ages seeking to experience higher levels of health, wellbeing and life satisfaction. Fiona uses mindfulness, cognitive behavioural and positive psychology therapies including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, difficult relationships, stress, grief and loss. A particular area of focus is working with people who are seeking to manage work -related stress, career transitions, career dissatisfaction, professional burnout, workplace bullying, or other factors that may be interfering with job performance and career success.

With a 25 year corporate career prior to therapy practice. Fiona is very familiar with the context in which many professional people work. Also an accredited coach, Fiona maintains a coaching and learning and development practice where she focuses on resilience, wellbeing and leadership.


Fiona builds a supportive, non-judgemental relationship, creating a safe space to make sense of life's challenges, difficult experiences and relationships. She also focuses on equipping clients with skills and practical techniques to move in the direction they want for their life. 

Rachelle Porter

Clinical Psychologist


Rachelle is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 10 years experience working in mental health within the private and public sector. Rachelle draws from a variety of psychological models in her work with adolescents and adults, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Systemic, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.


Rachelle provides a nurturing environment to explore and work through difficult issues, develop strong coping skills, and enhance wellbeing.

Francis Puccio

BCA, GDipPsych, PGDip Psych, MPsych (ClinPsych) PhD, MACPA.

Clinical Psychologist



Francis is a clinical psychologist and completed his Masters and PhD degree at the University of Melbourne.

Francis has worked with age groups ranging from adolescence to older adults across a variety of settings, and works with individuals with a range of psychological difficulties.

Francis is also employed at the Melbourne Children's Court and is a researcher at the University of Melbourne in the field of eating disorders.

Francis has a down to earth, non-judgmental approach to psychological therapy. He believes that therapy is collaborative, and uses evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their aims.

Belinda Paterson

Clinical Psychologist

Belinda Paterson is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Melbourne. She works with clients 12 years and above.


Belinda's most recent experience was as a Senior Clinician at Headspace, working with young people (12-25) and their families whose presenting concerns were considered ''complex and severe''. This role also involved piloting a new model of suicide prevention for young people in the North-West region of Melbourne. Belinda has also gained experience at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and in private practice with adolescents and adults who presented with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, eating disorders and major life transitions.

Belinda draws on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Schema Therapy and Positive Psychology. She believes that a therapeutic relationship based on respect, compassion and empowerment is a central part of the healing process. Belinda seeks to foster a supportive environment to help people explore their concerns, identify strengths and opportunities for change, develop new strategies and face the future with optimism.

Zac Teichmann

Clinical Psychologist

Consults Monday Evenings

Zac completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Melbourne in 2014. Since then he has focused on honing his clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing and managing risk and personality disorder. Zac facilitates Dialectical Behavior Therapy groups at Albert Road Clinic for clients with Borderline personality. Zac also works at Forensicare's Problem Behavior Program.

Zac sits on the Victorian Committee of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and on the Victorian Board of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Psychology, Psychiatry and Law (ANZAPPL).

Zac gas been working in private practice at Prahran East Medical Centre since August 2017 and has enjoyed working with a range of clients seeking help for anxiety, substance use problems, obsessive and compulsive behaviors, trauma, eating disorders and relationship difficulties, as well as more general questions of developing meaning and greater insight.


Chris Jellis


Chris graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2005. His love of musculoskeletal assessment and diagnosis, and constant thirst for knowledge, saw him take on a great deal of further study after university.


Chris has trained with a range of varied health professionals including chiropractors, homeopaths, exercise scientists and more, to give him a well rounded approach to health care.


As one of the directors and senior physiotherapists of Domain Health, his philosophy of treating the whole person and the use of exercise and motivation to assist people in their recovery has helped shape Domain Health to be what it is today. He loves fitness and training, and regularly competes in triathlons.


Dan Purdam


Dan is a enthusiastic podiatrist who enjoys having a opportunity to help others. He studied a Bachelor of Podiatry at La Trobe University and has experience in a range of settings including hospitals, community health, working with footwear, orthotic laboratories and private practice.


Since completing his studies Dan has worked within a sports medicine clinic and also within a large podiatry clinic where he assisted in clinical development of a new graduate podiatrist. Dan is also a supervisor at the La Trobe Podiatry Clinic, where he aids the clinical development of Podiatry students.

Dan has also spent many years in the operating theatre with podiatric and orthopaedic surgeons in order to learn about surgical options for people with chronic foot issues, bunions, flat feet and hammertoes. Dan follows a holistic clinical approach, he takes special care to consider each aspect of the person, their medical history, their footwear and their lifestyle (not just their feet).

In his spare time, Dan is a keen basketball fan and player. He enjoys travelling and has been fortunate enough to visit a few  places globally.
